Wave, #2.

Oil on Canvas.
92x60 cm. (appx. 3.0 x 2.0 feet)

This canvas has been reworked so many times that I have lost count. It was originally a "work of the week" from December of 2008, and before that it was a different painting about fire... for all the time I've spent on this canvas, perhaps it is time to stop.

Some call it Art, and some call it Kraft, #2.

Oil on board.
31 x 53 cm
(about 12 by 21 inches)
painted outdoors by the fishpond, May 2009

$200 includes shipping to the U.S. or Dutch tax.

This painting is reworked from an older painting, pictured below. But I decided I would like to have another go at it... it is all about the texture and paint surface. There are fallen seeds in the painting, as I was working outside.

Blue bit.

Oil on Canvas.
100 x 120 cm. (about 39 by 47 inches)

I used to make ceramic sculptures and really enjoyed working with the color, and surface of the clay. That has been an inspiration for my latest abstract direction, and I find myself working with the paint the same way I used to do with clay. Every stroke leaves a mark, and the history of the painting's evolution can be seen in every part of the canvas surface.
